Meet the ingredients in your serum:

1. Sabal palm fruit extract - is a known and effective 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor, so it can nullify the local conversion of testosterone to DHT, thus also reducing the severity of skin lesions. The results of the study indicate that the skin of people with acne shows a higher activity of 5-alpha-reductase type one, which is involved in the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT) with a much higher androgenic potency than testosterone. Androgens stimulate sebaceous gland activity and increase epidermal keratinization. Factors increase the risk of skin lesions.
   
   
2. Niacinamide - a tyrosinase inhibitor, reduces cutaneous synthesis of melanin (skin pigment), thus evening out skin tone and helping to reduce hyperpigmentation. Accelerates the process of reducing skin lesions, protects the skin from free radicals. It exhibits multidirectional effects on skin condition. By stimulating collagen synthesis, it improves skin structure, reduces transepidermal water loss (TEWL), has an anti-inflammatory effect and lightens hyperpigmentation.
   
   
3. 3-O-ethyl ascorbic acid - tyrosinase inhibitor, reduces cutaneous melanin (skin pigment) synthesis. Antioxidant, evens out skin tone and helps reduce hyperpigmentation.
   
   
4. Shikimic acid - a hydroxy acid extracted from star anise Illicium verum. It has a carboxyl group, thanks to which it can bind water in the epidermis, which has the effect of reducing transepidermal water loss. It improves skin hydration and makes the skin soft and supple. It has a mild keratolytic effect. Does not cause redness and dryness of the skin. Is an antioxidant - neutralizes and stabilizes free radicals, preventing uncontrolled reactions between free radicals and skin biomolecules.
   Thanks to its antimicrobial and exfoliating properties, shikimic acid is ideal for acne-prone skin. It promotes excessive keratinization of the epidermis, unblocks the sebaceous gland outlets and also reduces the proliferation of microorganisms.
   
   
5. Gallicacid diglucosyl - a derivative of gallic acid, belonging to the group of phenolic acids, with increased stability and bioavailability. Its anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and antifungal properties have been confirmed. The effects of diglucosyl gallic acid that we can observe on the skin are reduction of hyperpigmentation, unification of skin tone, reduction of erythema and also reduction of the appearance of pores.
   
   
6. Hyaluronic acid - intensively hydrates and reduces water loss through the epidermis. It increases skin hydration, promotes skin regeneration and also has an anti-aging effect. Depending on its molecular weight, HA has different properties: smaller particles penetrate the epidermal barrier more easily, providing hydration in the upper layers of the epidermis, large-molecular hyaluronic acid does not penetrate the epidermis, but by binding water molecules from the environment, it creates a moist compress on the surface of the epidermis, which reduces the feeling of tightness and dryness of the skin.
   
   
7. Pear Juice Ferment Filtrate - the addition of Lactobacillusferment (Lactobacillus/Pear Juice Ferment Filtrate) supports the skin's microbiota and helps restore its balance, which has a positive effect on problematic skin. People with problematic skin often face dysbiosis (imbalance of the skin microbiota). The prevalence of certain (IA1) strains of C. acnes bacteria with greater pathogenicity makes these individuals more prone to developing acne lesions.
   
   
8. Lactoferrin - a protein naturally produced by our body, essential in immune building processes. It is present in many body fluids and glandular secretions, such as milk, saliva, tears, nasal cavity gland secretions.
