Sage essential oil has an herbal, slightly spicy aroma and blends well with other oils, including juniper, lavender, geranium, peppermint, rosemary and oils extracted from citrus. When used for therauphetic purposes , it exhibits antiseptic, warming, anti-inflammatory, regenerative and astringent effects. It can be used to relieve respiratory infections and for muscle and joint pain. In natural care, sage oil is used to alleviate acne complaints, regulates sebum secretion, has an anti-inflammatory effect.
